Why it is relevant to AI governance
UNESCO’s 2021 Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence is the first global standard-setting instrument on AI ethics adopted by UNESCO’s member states. The organization also publishes implementation guidance, including work on education, the rule of law and elections.
