Global Digital Compact
The Global Digital Compact, agreed in the Pact for the Future process in 2024, sets shared objectives on digital cooperation, including AI, connectivity, data and human rights online. It is a political agreement among UN Member States, not a legally binding convention. Implementation runs through UN and national processes, including follow-up on AI governance dialogues.
