National policy white paper
A Pro-Innovation Approach to AI Regulation (UK)
The UK white paper sets a principles-based, cross-sector approach in which existing regulators apply AI principles rather than creating a single horizontal AI statute in the EU AI Act sense. Later official guidance for regulators implements that approach. It is policy, not primary legislation.
